Howlin’ Bob’s mix from Burning Man 2001. Howlin’ Bob had brought a stack of these CDs to the Dioxine Party on the Thursday before Burn Nite and was passing them around. This one was marked “Ambient” although to me, it seems to have a House tempo…

Hide Your Mind – Part 3 of a long project from 4-H Community, Moscow, Russian Federation, ca. 2005

DJ doing the classic DJ Pose, “The Jesus”

“Progressive State,” progressive house from early 2000’s. Tempo 128 BPM. CD given me as a gift.

Here is a wacky mix that I made for a fundraiser show that Krow had organized over at UWSP Encore Room, in around 2011. If I recall, it may have been to get funds raised for the upcoming fight against the GTAC Taconite Mine up in the Penokee Hills. As you may recall that struggle didn’t go well for Krow… the first track is Derrick Carter, “Yacapella: Where you at?” and the rest is a mix of odd genres.

Old DJ Lilyanne mix from around the Holidays, 2008, from Steven Kaye in Milwaukee …
this is straight up house music, 124 Beats per Minute more or less…

“Y2K Off the Hook” was mixed up around early 2001 with various mp3 tracks gleaned off college radio WMSE “mighty 91”. Progressive House tempo, 128 beats per minute. Last track has some nice female vocals to it.

A mix from January, 2010 that I would call in-between like Progressive House and a Psytrance beat on the slower side. Tempo is like 136 BPM (not Beatmapped). I like this one because it’s particularly melodic and has some nice female vocals as well.

This track from DJ Duff is more on the Chilltempo tip, and something you might hear when you decided to move from the Main Stage at a Chilluminati outdoor fest and way out in the woods to the Chillout Stage where your tired dancing feet can get some rest…

A drum-n-bass from a decade ago. This one is a mix of stuff out of Milwaukee and I may have mashed-up some DJ Bishop tracks in here, but don’t quote me on that. These days you might call this “Liquid DnB” but not sure, don’t quote me on that either.
